To make sure that every child has the opportunity to receive a high-quality education, we must provide students, educators and parents with the tools and resources they need to get the job done!

• Students need smaller class sizes, updated textbooks and technology, quality early childhood programs, qualified and caring teachers, safe and modern schools, and basic supports such as adequate healthcare and nutrition.
• Teachers & support staff need more quality professional development, more planning time, less unnecessary workload, and adequate salary and healthcare, so that experienced educators remain in Maryland and in the profession.
• Parents need resources to help their children and opportunities to get more personally involved. Like teachers, they should not have to spend so much money out of their own pockets to prepare their children for school.

But we can't do it alone! Providing students, educators and parents with the tools and resources they need requires the support of elected officials, policymakers, opinion leaders, and the entire Maryland community!
